Edge banding machine can accurately and efficiently perform linear edge banding, trimming, polishing and other operations on furniture boards. The specific functions that this machine can achieve are as follows:
1-Pre-milling
Use double milling cutters to modify the ripple marks, burrs or non-vertical phenomena produced by cutting saws and cutting saws to achieve better edge banding effect. Make the edge banding strip fit more closely with the board, with better integrity and better aesthetics.
2-Rough/finishing
Adopt automatic tracking and high-frequency high-speed motor structure to ensure that the trimmed board is flat up and down, and is used for trimming the excess edge banding materials on the upper and lower edges of the board edge banding strips.
3-Trimming
Through precise linear guide motion, automatic model tracking and high-frequency high-speed motor fast cutting structure are adopted to ensure that the cutting section is flat and smooth.

It is used for direct slotting of wardrobe side panels and bottom panels, reducing the cutting saw process, which is more convenient and quick; it can also be used for slotting aluminum edges of door panels.
Proper maintenance of the edge banding machine can extend the service life of the machine and improve work efficiency. Although this may cost a certain amount of manpower and material resources, it is very necessary. So, how should the edge banding machine be maintained? The following may be some references:
1. Keep all parts of the machine clean. For example, the glue on the wooden board near the glue pot will dry to other parts, directly affecting its normal operation.
2. There will be a lot of edge banding chips in the pre-milling part, end face trimming part, and trimming and scraping part. Even if there is a dust suction device, it will not be sucked clean. The flying edge banding chips will affect the sliding and rolling part, and will also affect the trimming. So the edge banding chips should be cleaned up every time.
3. Check the operating parts. Regularly check the sound and temperature of each operating part to see if there is abnormal noise, heat, etc.
4. Regularly refuel the operating parts.
Of course, in addition to daily maintenance work, the edge banding machine may also have abnormalities during use. When abnormal situations occur, we should understand how to deal with them; the following are the most likely problems of the three edge banding machines. If you have encountered similar problems, you may wish to try the following solutions:
Problem 1: There is a problem with the pressing part of the edge banding machine, which causes the trimming and polishing equipment to fail to operate normally.
Reason: The plate is not pressed tightly, or there is a height difference between the front and back of the plate. When the plate moves to the glue coating part, the glue coating wheel and the pressing wheel exert a certain pressure on the side of the plate, causing the plate to move and deviate from the baseline, resulting in the inability to complete the subsequent process.
Solution: The problem is solved by tightening the board and the front and rear tension.
Problem 2: The trimming reference cannot be found.
Reason: The trimming knife can accurately trim the edge strip into the ideal line, thanks to the horizontal guide (diagonal wheel or arc-shaped support plate) and longitudinal guide (contact wheel) next to the trimming knife. If they cannot be closely attached to the moving board, the correct line cannot be trimmed.
Solution: Put the long board with a flat end face into the edge banding machine (be careful not to glue it). When the board moves to the position where it can cover polishing, scraping, finishing, and roughing, stop the conveyor belt, take the board surface as the reference, place the above horizontal and vertical reference parts on the board, and keep the cutting knife edge close to the edge of the board. Wait for the back to be fine-tuned and straightened until the ideal effect appears.
Problem 3: Loose screws cause unstable trimming.
Solution: Find the reference, tighten the screws, and adjust the tool.
