1-Pre-milling

1. Keep all parts of the machine clean. For example, the glue on the wooden board near the glue pot will dry to other parts, directly affecting its normal operation.

2. There will be a lot of edge banding chips in the pre-milling part, end face trimming part, and trimming and scraping part. Even if there is a dust suction device, it will not be sucked clean. The flying edge banding chips will affect the sliding and rolling part, and will also affect the trimming. So the edge banding chips should be cleaned up every time.

Problem 1: There is a problem with the pressing part of the edge banding machine, which causes the trimming and polishing equipment to fail to operate normally.

Reason: The plate is not pressed tightly, or there is a height difference between the front and back of the plate. When the plate moves to the glue coating part, the glue coating wheel and the pressing wheel exert a certain pressure on the side of the plate, causing the plate to move and deviate from the baseline, resulting in the inability to complete the subsequent process.

Solution: The problem is solved by tightening the board and the front and rear tension.

Problem 2: The trimming reference cannot be found.

Reason: The trimming knife can accurately trim the edge strip into the ideal line, thanks to the horizontal guide (diagonal wheel or arc-shaped support plate) and longitudinal guide (contact wheel) next to the trimming knife. If they cannot be closely attached to the moving board, the correct line cannot be trimmed.

Solution: Put the long board with a flat end face into the edge banding machine (be careful not to glue it). When the board moves to the position where it can cover polishing, scraping, finishing, and roughing, stop the conveyor belt, take the board surface as the reference, place the above horizontal and vertical reference parts on the board, and keep the cutting knife edge close to the edge of the board. Wait for the back to be fine-tuned and straightened until the ideal effect appears.

Problem 3: Loose screws cause unstable trimming.

Solution: Find the reference, tighten the screws, and adjust the tool.
